Assign members to a workspace

Assigning members to a workspace is an essential task that is performed during the first-time setup of the CoBaseKRM system environment and whenever a new workspace is created.

If you are an administrator who is required to assign members to a workspace, you perform a set of steps to invite new users as join as members of a workspace.

Once a new user has received a notification email message, he/she is required to respond to an invitation to join a workspace. The process of joining a workspace for a new user includes creating a user account.

To assign a member to a workspace:

  1. Click or tap the Settings (gear) icon in the navigation bar to display a menu and select User Access Management.

  2. Navigate to the Workspace > Members view.

  3. Click or tap the Invite User button.

    The Invite User to Your Workspace dialog appears.

  4. In the Email field, type the email address of the new user.

  5. In the Assign Role field, select the role to be assigned to the new user.

  6. Click or tap the Invite User button in the dialog.

    CoBaseKRM sends a "Welcome to workspace" email message to the new user.

    The remaining steps to complete the procedure for assigning a member to a workspace are completed by the invited user, as described in the section about responding to an invitation to join a workspace.
